The goal of the modern composer is to blur the line between creativity and technology; to see and use the process as one, unified expression. My focus is on mastering the tools for my own compositions and to benefit my clients.

I began studying the drums at an early age, taught myself the piano, took voice lessons, and strengthened each of these areas with innumerable experiences in the classroom, in-studio, and on stage. In 1991, I began using computers for sequencing my first musical ideas. Since that time, I've assembled a recording studio, been a staff engineer in a commercial studio, and performed with and recorded many great musicians. All the while, writing and recording my own original music. I work in Los Angeles for the Cambridge, Massachusetts-based MOTU. My other work includes a technical consulting business and freelance recording/mixing.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my website.
