![]() Matt LaPoint works in Los Angeles in the fields of recording software/hardware sales, music production, and education. He is the Western sales manager for MOTU, a leading developer of computer-based audio and video production hardware and software. As a recording engineer/mixer, Matt works on a wide range of projects from score mixes to full album productions. He teaches sound design in the film department at Art Center College of Design. Matt draws on his background as a composer and musician in his approach to these areas. He has engineered/mixed CDs for Michael Tucker, Michael Koppy, Ashley Faatoalia, Amedeo Ursini, Kevin Koelbl, Larry Dominello, The Miracle Project, Brian Fox, Mandrill, Jay Oliver, Andrew Morgan, Howard Hill, and others. As a producer/mixer, he has recently worked on CD releases for Dave Lewis and My Compatriots. Matt's engineering/mixing work can be heard on scores and songs for Disney, ABC, CBS, New Line Cinema, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, MTV, A&E, Lifetime Television, Threshold Animation Studios, BSX Records, Ear to Ear, Megatrax, The Music Collective, Samuel French, and others.
